Cooling of slab
Cooling tunnel Lekos provides all features which are necessary for the efficient cooling of the formed centre /slab cooling/ prior to the cutting.
- Sufficient inside time – length of cooling zones and quantity of cooling zones is designed specifically for every project. Needed parameters can be easily found by using Lekos R&D centre for any special mass.
- Upper cooling convectional or radiative by air depending on application, air temperature and speed of blowing adjustable for each zone individually.
- Bottom cooling bed with separate temperature regulation.
